Boris Johnson: Clarkson was right

BORIS Johnson backed Jeremy Clarkson yesterday over his outburst about this week's strike — as union chiefs were dealt another blow in the High Court.

The London Mayor played down Top Gear star Jeremy's TV remark that striking public sector workers should be shot.

Mr Johnson said: "What he was trying to say was, 'when you've a real need for pension reform, is it really necessary to try to paralyse the country?'"     Read Full
