A pensioner who dug up a bone while
doing a spot of gardening was shocked to be told it belonged to a
115million-year-old dinosaur.
The pensioner, from Sunderland, thought he had found a bone and took it to his local museum in a carrier bag in case it was of interest.
Experts at Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens examined the find and believe it is an Iguanodon - a dinosaur which could grow up to 10m long. More Read
