Nearly 10,000 zombies march in Mexico City in a bid to smash New Jersey's record

Thousands of self-proclaimed 'undead' gathered in the historic centre of Mexico City for a 'Zombie Walk' that organizers hope sets a world record.

The 9,860 registered participants were dressed in rags and ghoulish makeup to look bloody and decaying.

Organizer Pablo Guisa said the fifth annual event in the Mexico capital was meant to celebrate diversity and human rights, the Associated Press reports.     More Read
