Miracle baby undergoes life-saving open heart surgery aged just 22 HOURS

A miracle baby has become the youngest in the country to undergo open heart surgery after going under the knife when just 22 hours old.

Toby Dring was born with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome and his health deteriorated so drastically that surgeons were forced to operate just hours after his birth. 

The life-saving operation from surgeons at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle saw little Toby become one of the youngest babies in the world to undergo such a procedure.   More Read
