Hacking Police Examine 300 Million Emails


Detectives investigating phone hacking at the News of the World are examining 300 million staff emails supplied by the paper's owner News International.

The revelation came as News International's executive chairman James Murdoch faced a second session of questions by MPs over the scandal.

The Scotland Yard squad has so far interviewed only 600 of the suspected 5,700 hacking victims.
Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe said it was "a frustration" that victims could not be seen any quicker.   Read Here
