It's the one leader board that the UK doesn't want to top. But British women have been named the fattest in Europe.
Almost one in four (23.9 per cent) women in Britain are classed as obese, far worse than the rest of Western Europe.
In Germany, 15.6 per cent were found to be obese, while just 12.7 per cent of French women and 9.3 per cent of Italian women have piled on the pounds.
Former Soviet states including Lativa and Estonia were among those who came closest to matching Britain's obesity rate.
