SEVEN pups play with cops' headgear as they size up their futures as police dogs.
The four-week-old furballs will soon be placed with volunteers to be assessed before starting training at 15 months.The litter was born to two police German Shepherds at the West Midlands dog unit based in Coventry. Breed scheme manager Dave Raymond said: "They've got a great genetic line."
He added that if any do not make the grade, the force has a long waiting list of animal lovers wanting to raise them as pets. More Read
