A drunken dog
which mauled a 10-year-old boy has been spared after a court heard that
strong lager was poured down its throat before the attack.
Owner James Holmes, 24, told the court that Diesel, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, was given Stella Artois from a can by his girlfriend's uncle before he attacked 10-year-old Joe Pickering.
