Pilot who bludgeoned wife to death with hammer 'will marry air stewardess lover in prison'

A British Airways pilot who brutally bludgeoned his millionaire wife to death in a divorce row is to marry his stewardess lover behind bars, it was claimed today. 

Robert Brown is serving a 26-year sentence for the frenzied killing of his wife, Joanna, at her luxury home in Ascot, Berkshire, in front of their two children.

But just a few months after he was jailed for her manslaughter, his mistress Stephanie Bellemere, with whom he also has a child, has confirmed they are to marry.

According to a report in the Sunday Mirror, Miss Bellemere is standing by the killer, insisting 'he is not a murderer', and the pair are set to wed in a jailhouse ceremony. 

The BA stewardess, who regularly comes from her home in France to visit Brown in prison, told the paper they were set to marry in a 'low key' ceremony, 'out of respect for the children involved'.   Full Read
