NSW in slow lane of new economy

AUSTRALIA is now a three-speed economy, with NSW ranked in the slowest lane of growth.

Analysis to be released today shows Western Australia is leading the way, followed by the ACT, Victoria and South Australia.

Then there is a gap before NSW, Queensland, Tasmania and Northern Territory, according to Commonwealth Securities.
"WA is in a group by itself," the stockbroker says in its State of the States report.   More Read
