A CONTENDER as the next chairman of selectors, Geoff Lawson, says the
outgoing selection panel should not hand Pat Cummins a baggy green cap
in South Africa as he is not ready to play Test cricket.
Lawson, who is in the running to succeed Andrew Hilditch, said Cummins, 18, had ''bucketloads of potential'' but needed to be given time to develop his game and body in the first-class arena.
