Federal Government Elevates Tax on Cigarette Products

According to reports, seeing the increased offences related to cigarette smoking, recently the region’s federal government officials have announced that from now onwards all the tobacco companies will be asked to pay a huge amount of tax on the tobacco product’s exportation.

However, immediately after the announcement, many health experts claimed that the tax implementation was not the right tool for lessening the smoking offences as they strongly believed that the given verdict was only a short- term benefit.
