A woman found dead in a roadside drain this morning was last seen walking her dog last night.Police have launched a homicide inquiry after the 47-year-old Napier woman's body was found on the outskirts of the city this morning.
Napier area commander Inspector Kevin Kalff said the woman's body was found by a member of the public who was cycling on the main highway about 11am.
Staff at The Orchard Shop on the same road said the cyclist went into the business and asked to use the phone to call police. Read More
