Crime does seem to pay - $200,000 given back to cocaine dealer 'Tony'

ONE of Australia's biggest cocaine dealers - stripped of almost $1 million under the Proceeds of Crime Act - was later given back $200,000 by authorities in a secret taxpayer-funded payment. 
 
The NSW Crime Commission has confirmed an informant codenamed "Tom" was paid in March 2006 for "sustenance over the next four years".    More Read
