SENIORS-only parking spots,
compostable nappies and a ban on "no pet" apartments are among a range
of ideas that could be voted in at NSW councils.
Among some of the motions put up by councils at their annual local government conference this week is a bid by Liverpool City Council to force Australia Post to fix the grass that motorbike posties rip up.
It would make Australia Post liable to any litigation as a result of injury to pedestrians.
"The continual riding of motor bikes on the grassed areas cause large divots to occur which are unsightly and extremely dangerous for pedestrians," Liverpool Council said. More Read
