The cat that wouldn't die! Abandoned moggie emerges meowing from freezer after animal shelter's SECOND attempt at putting it down

It's lucky for this stray cat that she has nine lives after miraculously surviving two attempts to put her down.

Staff at a Utah animal shelter made the decision to euthanise Andrea the cat after 30 days because no one had adopted her and there was no space to continue to keep her.

But the black and white cat stunned the vet at the West Valley City animal shelter by surviving her trip into the carbon monoxide gas chamber.

After the attempt to gas her she still showed signs of life, so a further attempt was made. 


The astonished employee ran the gas once more before placing Andrea in a bag and leaving her body in a cooler, WPTV.com reported.   More
