Cash-for-crash scam passengers’ whiplash payouts

WHIPLASH crooks are packing buses with stooges and deliberately crashing into them for the insurance money.

The passengers slap in fake personal injury claims in an astonishing crash-for-cash fiddle costing millions.

Cops are investigating one where an Audi TT is believed to have deliberately rammed the side of a park and ride bus — and 36 PEOPLE on board made insurance claims.

The scams were uncovered by an 18-month probe — set up after five suspicious bus crashes in just one county resulted in £1million of fraudulent claims.

They were revealed yesterday as Justice Secretary Ken Clarke held a “Whiplash Summit” to cut bogus injury claims that make insurance policies rocket.          Read More
