Give us a break! Hospital wins national award... and thanks hard-working staff with a 60p Kit Kat each

Staff who helped their hospital to win a national award were thanked with gifts...a 60p Kit Kat each.

In a reference to the chocolate bar’s advertising slogan, about 4,000 staff at Torbay Hospital in Devon were told to ‘have a break’ and cash in a voucher for one at their canteen.

The South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was named Acute Healthcare Organisation of the Year 2011 at the Health Service Journal awards.                     Read More
