Mystery of the sudden surge in acid attacks on MEN by WOMEN

It has become a worrying trend in Pakistan which, many believe, has not been taken seriously-enough by the country's government; acid being used as a weapon to scar and disfigure women who have brought 'dishonour' to their husbands or families.


However, the country has seen a sudden and mysterious rise in acid attacks being carried out against men by women.

Acid throwing assaults have been mainly carried out against women and are usually motivated by revenge. But a series of attacks against men in Pakistan's traditionally patriarchal society has baffled doctors and human rights campaigners.         Full Read
