Jail’s so cushty Thief with 207 offences mocks 30-month term

A WOMAN being jailed for her 207th conviction shouted to a judge: “Cushty, easily done.”

Callous Caroline Pattinson shrugged off a 30-month sentence for stealing from a kind pensioner.

She yelled to Judge Roger Thorn — who had told her she was “despicable” — as she was led from the dock at Newcastle Crown Court.

Junkie Pattinson, 34, who has convictions for theft, fraud, assault and drugs, stole £40 from 72-year-old Lilian Wilde. 

She pretended to feel dizzy to con her way into the home of Mrs Wilde, who offered to make her a cuppa. While the pensioner’s back was turned Pattinson lifted her purse and left saying: “You can cancel the coffee.”        Read More
