It's not so grim up North (when it comes to water)! As millions are banned from using hosepipes, the reservoirs that are filled to the brim

As the country suffers its worst water shortage since 1976, more than half of Britain is officially suffering a drought.

But other regions appear immune to the dry conditions elsewhere, with new pictures showing reservoirs in the north enjoying far higher levels than this time last year.


The scenes in Greater Manchester are a stark contrast to the Daily Telegraph's reports from the south, where Thames Water has enlisted volunteer 'drought speakers' to go into secondary schools to educate children on saving water.         Full Read
