Best Movie Franchise: 'Hunger Games,' 'Harry Potter,' 'Star Wars' And More Battle It Out In Ultimate Fan Face-Off

Long before Katniss Everdeen destroyed her box office competition -- and sparked a fan frenzy -- with "The Hunger Games," a boy wizard with a lightning bolt scar ignited a worldwide phenomenon, making children of all ages believe in magic.

However, "Harry Potter" isn't the only film franchise with such devoted fans. "Star Wars" has widely been considered "the greatest film franchise of all time," bringing in almost $4.4 billion worldwide and creating a pop culture phenomenon that's still relevant more than 30 years later.

Of course, let's not count out the sparkly vampires in "Twilight" just yet. After all, devoted Twi-hards camped out 96 hours before the premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." And who could forget the harrowing adventures of Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson's epic "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, which had Middle Earth fans everywhere breaking out their Elvish dictionaries?          More
