Armed robber who made history as first British prisoner to wed on TV goes on the run during home visit

An armed robber who was seen by millions of viewers marrying in British television’s first prison wedding was on the run last night.

Adrian Fielding, 25, claimed he felt ‘really guilty’ as he wed Kelly Hansen last year in  ITV1’s fly-on-the-wall documentary Strangeways.

But police were hunting him last night after he failed to return to the open prison he was moved to following a weekend home visit.             Read Full
