Texan model severely injured by plane propeller

A successful Texan model and fashion blogger has had her hand cut off and suffered horrific facial and shoulder injuries after she walked into the moving propeller of an aeroplane. 

Lauren Scruggs, 23, had just got out of the small two-seater plane at a private airport when she accidentally walked in the front of the propeller.

Her left side — including her hand, shoulder, face, eye and brain — was severely hurt in the accident and she is now in a serious condition.

She had to have her left hand amputated.

The Dallas model, who writes a fashion blog and has worked on the set of Gossip Girl, had been flying around Texas to view the state's Christmas lights.      Read Here
