Double-decker pizza boasting 1,800 calories (that's a woman's DAILY allowance)

Health experts have repeatedly warned that the nation is facing an obesity time bomb.


But that hasn’t stopped Iceland unveiling a 9in double decker pizza which contains 1,780 calories – almost the entire recommended daily allowance for a woman.


The 699g (24.5oz) Double Decker Double Pepperoni Pizza, which costs just £3, also has 9.6g of  salt, more than one-and-a-half times the amount advised for both sexes.

It contains 54.4g of fat, of which 20.8g is saturated – just over 80 per cent of the advised 25g daily intake for women.    Full Read
