But one man took his impulse to the extreme by launching desks, computers and a fire extinguisher from a high-rise office block in Bristol city centre.
Workers were sent scrambling for cover after the man launched debris from the 10th floor of the 262ft building.
The man - believed to be a disgruntled former worker run - had run amok in the 17-storey Castlemead Tower, smashing doors, office furniture and setting off fire extinguishers.
He then set off the building's fire alarm at around 7.20pm on Tuesday - forcing hundreds of workers to assemble downstairs. More
