WITH his young child just metres away, a father allegedly demanded money from two men he had lured to his home yesterday.
The 34-year-old was arrested after specialist police raided the home in Sydney's south west at 1pm.
Police were alerted to the hostage drama after one of the victims was allowed to leave the property.
As his father was led from the house, the young boy, with a dummy still in his mouth, was carried into the street by a female police officer.
The father was allowed to briefly cuddle his young son before he was taken by officers to the police station for questioning. Read Here
