Carol “Set ’Em Free” Feinman, the Bronx judge who had a habit of
freeing defendants without bail in serious cases, has gotten her wish --
she’s been transferred to Brooklyn to preside over minor spats.
Feinman, 57, was quietly reassigned to Brooklyn Civil Court last week after it was revealed she set at least three people free under questionable circumstances, the most recent a teen accused of assaulting and robbing an on-duty undercover cop.
A well-placed source had told The Post that Feinman despised her Bronx criminal assignment and hoped to force a transfer to the cushier civil division.
“She’s unhappy on the criminal side,” the law-enforcement source said.
