Mum charged with endangering child after letting daughter use tanning booth

A MOTHER was charged with child endangerment over claims she let her five-year-old daughter use a tanning booth.

Police arrested Patricia Krentcil, 44, of Nutley, New Jersey, after they were called out to her daughter Anna's elementary school.

The child reportedly told the school nurse she was in pain from burns she suffered while "tanning with mommy".

But deeply-tanned Patricia said it was all a big misunderstanding, adding: "It's preposterous."        More Read
