Princess Girly...the twirling dancer who persuaded Matt Smith to go for the role of Dr Who

She doesn’t look like the kind of character who usually takes a leading role in Doctor Who dramas.


But cabaret dancer Laura Jayne Smith – the sister of Doctor Who star Matt Smith – has revealed she played a vital part in persuading him to become an actor when his dream of playing top-level football was crushed by injury. 


As a youth her younger brother had played for Nottingham Forest and Leicester City.        More Read
