RSPCA shop’s ban on helper’s RSPCA dogs Charity’s barmy safety rule

RSPCA volunteer Julia Anderson has blasted the charity's bosses after they banned her rescue dogs from their shop.

Julia was stunned to be told her Staffordshire cross pets Gina and Tully were no longer welcome — despite them coming from a local rescue home run by the charity.

A health and safety review has outlawed her pets — despite customers still being allowed to browse the shop's bric-a-brac with their dogs.

Julia, 52, used to let the pair snuggle down behind the counter in Halifax, West Yorkshire. She is a life member of the charity and has been a shop volunteer for 16 years.      Read More
